Fast shutter speed photographs

For this set of pictures, we captured water dripping, to create an effect that captures the movement of the drops. We used DSLR cameras with the shutter speed of 1/225 per second or higher. The shutter speed played the main role in taking the photographs as the speed will capture the very fast movement of the drops and also needs it to be sharp and avoid it to be blurry. While taking these photographs, some came out really blurry and in this case you should try to keep the camera still as much as possible and focus on the drip area and use a tripod, although it is very difficult to capture the drops close from some angles with tripod. I could have also use stronger lights like a flash gun this additional light would have allowed me to use a faster shutter speed. For next time, I would try to improve the effect of the water and try to colour it to create more interesting image.
