Shutter zoom pictures

For this set of pictures I used DSLR Cannon Camera. 

I set up the shutter speed for 1/25 seconds and manually moved out the zoom lens rapidly while taking the picture to produce the blurry effect. The ISO(image sensitivity) was set up to 100 which created sharp effect of the image and prevented it from being grainy and bad quality. Again, eye can't view this action same way as camera can, therefore this effect is really interesting. For next time I think I should improve more focus to the centre of the image so its more sharp and the background more blurred. 

Panning Technique pictures

For this set of pictures I used the panning technique, where by I focused on the moving object and slowly panned as the object moved. I used DSLR Cannon camera which was set set up with shutter priority mode with a shutter speed on 1/25 seconds and ISO(image sensitivity) on 100. 

What is interesting about theses images is that they capture something that the eye cannot normally see: as the background is blurry and the moving images are sharp. Although I could next time improve the sharpness of the images I think the outcome effect of this was very good. 

Slow Shutter Speed Pictures: Blurred Motion

For this set of images I set up the shutter speed to 1/25 and ISO(image sensitivity) was set up to 100 (so that the images didn't get over exposed with the long exposure). The  technique I used for this is called slow shutter speed and brings out the background to be sharp and the moving objects to be blurry. It is opposite technique to the panning. 

I used DSLR Cannon camera for this pictures and I had to place the camera on a steady place(tripod,fence) and when the moving object was coming forward I just placed the release button and captured the action which created this effect. What is special about these images is that eye cannot view this action the same as the camera can.

Ident Evaluation

E4 Channel Ident Evaluation

In this project I was set up to create via any animation ident which will represent channel E4. I started off by sketching few ideas and brainstorming them, and then settled up for my favourite one, but my original plan got changed as I joined my two projects from two different assignments to create this ident. 

In my opinion this ident could be much more improved if I had more time to work on it and had time to schedule tasks between me and my group that it was worked on. In rating, I would have to rate my time scheduling on this project poorly. 

As we worked on drawn animation, in my opinion the drawing part worked out really well as it was well planned. Although the drawing part worked out well, if there was more time the all over part of the drawing could be much more improved and more detailed but because in time sense it was really stressful to create this ident it was difficult to combine both drawing and editing part of the animation. 

I would definitely rate the work of other group members really high, as my other group member worked really hard and his drawing skills helped my team work to work out the way it did. He is also really good at editing and therefore our final project worked out good even if it was really tight on time planning. I helped with planning of the animation and both drawing and editing part. We had a go at everything in our group and we both separated the tasks so we have the job in the team both equally. 

I think our animation did fulfil its creative part, as we also tried to place some creativity into the editing part as well. Next time I would definitely plan this project more detailed to improve but in my opinion our project can be called successful.
